Since 1972, Bradshaw has been the leader in providing educational workshops, seminars, and in-service programs to our community. We believe that education is the most powerful tool in our attempt to learn more about the needs of the dying, what happens when the death occurs, understanding the grief process, and how to support those who have experienced loss. Our Grief Counselor, Tony Del Percio has 30 years experience providing education and training both locally and nationally to hundreds of groups. Tony’s expertise, sense of humor, storytelling, and compassion make our seminars both engaging and informative. Tony is also able to address other topics of importance such as compassion fatigue, stress, suicide, taking care of the caregiver and empowerment.
For social workers we are registered with the Department of Social Work and for nurses and other professionals we are able to provide continuing education credits based at no cost. Depending on your needs and time frame we can create a program that will meet your expectations.
We will be offering bi monthly seminars at one of our locations with various speakers. Check our website to find topics and locations.
Sample of our seminars:
“Unmasking the Mysteries” – Our Funeral Home workshop and tour.
Taking care of the Caregiver
Grief: “ The Human Experience”
We are also available to present programs for service clubs, social groups, high schools, youth or seniors groups, or other volunteer organizations who would like to learn more about the funeral service profession and/or society's attitudes towards death, dying, grief, and suicide prevention.
