Bradshaw - Minnehaha is located in South Minneapolis (Hennepin County) at 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South - close to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Bradshaw – Minnehaha is situated near the intersection of Minnehaha Avenue and Lake Street in the Longfellow neighborhood. The facility is local family owned and operated by the Bradshaw family, and has been serving families since 1916, with the proud heritage of having been the McDivitt Funeral Home, and later, the McDivitt-Hauge-Bradshaw Funeral Home. In addition to the Longfellow community, Bradshaw – Minnehaha commonly serves the surrounding Minneapolis neighborhoods of Nokomis, Powderhorn, Central, Phillips, University, and Highland Park in Saint Paul.
This facility can accommodate groups of all sizes- from small, intimate groups to very large public gatherings. Among the services offered are: burial and cremation; planning memorial or funeral services; PowerPoint, WMV, or JPG/TIF/BMP memorial slideshow displays; funeral or memorial service recording and web-casting; filing for Veteran’s benefits, Social Security benefits, and death certificates; placing obituaries in metro and rural papers; notarizing, faxing, and internet service; iPod/MP3 player attachment(s) for stereo sound; an elevator to the lower level community room; and Grief Support services in the months following the funeral. The building with its community room can host such events as funeral luncheons or dinners, neighborhood association meetings, public awareness seminars, birthday and anniversary parties, service organization meetings, community and private events, and many more.
