Alyce M., beloved wife and mother, age 86, of Bayport on November 11, 2002. Alyce had been employed by the United States Department of Agriculture, Washington D. C. and South St. Paul for many years and also for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of St. Paul for many years. She was also instrumental in forming the Original Washington County Association for Retarded Children in 1959. Preceded in death by son, Royce Kevin. Survived by husband, Loren; daughter, Julee (Michael) Ruby; son, Reed; grandchildren, Kristen, Shawn, and Patrick Ruby; brothers, Edgar and Luverne "Bud" Olsen; sisters, Gertrude Grill and E. Vivian Wick; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial service Wednesday 2:00 P.M. at SALEM EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 14940 North 62nd Street, Stillwater. Interment Salem Cemetery. Visitation on hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.
