Barbara Schnelle

Passed away on 3/13/09 at Fairview Southdale Hosp. at the age of 80 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Pearl & Joseph Johnson. Survived by husband of 50 years, Lloyd Schnelle. Also survived by brothers, Roger (Margaret) and Curtis (Margaret), and five nieces and nephews. Born in Milaca, MN in 1928. Graduate of Univ of MN, B.S. 1950. Career included retailing and teaching. Member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Enjoyed the creative arts including wood carving, Navajo sand painting, and Navajo weaving. Extensive travel as a partner with husband in his marine corp career. Longtime retirement in Sun City, AZ. Services at Noon on Fri., March 20 ^th at the FORT SNELLING CHAPEL, 1 Federal Dr, St. Paul, with one hour gathering to follow. Private interment. Memorials preferred to Mayo Foundation, United Methodist Church, Milaca or Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bock, MN.
