Died peacefully January 16, 2011. Born in St. Paul, MN on November 3, 1934. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Evelyn Deutsch, and nephew, Nick Madych. Survived by brother, Charles (Vicki) Deutsch; sister, Rosemary (Wally) Madych; nieces, Emily (Nicholas) Zinos and Anna Deutsch; nephew, Taras Madych; grandnieces and grandnephews, Anthony, Natasha, Annie, Nico, Theo and Thanos Zinos. Carol graduated from St. Bernard's Grade School in 1948 and Washington High School in 1952. She went on to work for the MN Department of Economic Security for 42 years. She traveled the world, loved music, and made friends wherever she was. She will always be remembered for her joyful outlook on life. . Memorials preferred to the Church of St. Bernard. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Fri., 1/21 at CHURCH OF ST. BERNARD, 197 West Geranium. Visitation 5 - 8PM Thursday at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia, and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
