Cathy went home to God on September 6, 2011 at the age of 68. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Jerry; son, Gregory and wife, Carol; daughter, Gerilyn and husband, Patrick; and son Jeffrey. Cathy has six grandchildren who adore her, Emma (13), Joseph & Grace (11), Josie (9), and Will & Kate (7). Preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Polly Linden, William and Erma Haug, as well as her sister, Diane Petersen and brother-in-law, Jim Petersen.
Born in Amery, Wisconsin Cathy was an Amery High School and University of Wisconsin-River Falls honor student and graduate. She is dearly loved by her family and enjoyed reading, gardening, travelling and tea parties. Cathy actively volunteered at St. Andrew's, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and had been a board member at the Stillwater Courage Center.
Memorial Service Monday, 11:00 A.M at ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi. Visitation Sunday, 3-7 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Cty Rd 5), Stillwater.
Memorials are preferred to Amery Historical Society, 225 Scholl Ct., Amery WI.
