passed away August 9, 2006. Born in Canastota, NY in 1917, daughter of Dr. Earl & Charlotte Holden. Duke Univ. graduate, elementary school teacher in Minneapolis for 15 years, Girl Scout Troop 430 leader for 10 years & led scouts to Europe in 1959, The Little Red House gift shop owner in Afton, MN for 30 years & member of Afton Village Bus. Assoc., world traveler. Member: Westminster, Stillwater Presbyterian churches & Winterset Dance Club. Survived by 4 children, Spencer Rotzel, Alice Furry, Joan Haglund, and Ann Scherbert; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters. Preceded in death by Durand S. Rotzel, husband of 61 years, and one grandson. Charlotte was deeply loved by her family, her Girl Scouts and Melaque friends. Private service and interment planned at Lakewood Cemetery.
