Age 96 of Stillwater passed away on September 20,2005 at Linden Health Care Center, Stillwater. Clara was born on April 22, 1909 in Bruning, Nebraska. Preceded in death by her parents George and Catharina Voss, 3 sisters, 5 brothers, her husbands-Alvin Newman and Fred Wiedl; daughter, Dorothy Bailey, and grand-daughter Sandy Rohda. She will be sadly missed by her children, Donald (Catherine) Newman, Darlene Harris, Dean (Linda) Newman, Diane (Darrell) Moe, Dan (Nancy) Newman, Donna (Dave) Redman; 32 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren. Clara was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved traveling, camping, fishing, playing cards, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and shopping. The family wishes to thank the Croixdale staff and Linden Health Care Center staff and residents for the care and love shown to their mother. Service Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at SAINT PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 609 S. Fifth St. (Fifth and Walnut). Interment Withrow Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Cty Rd. 5) with a Prayer Service 7:00 P.M., and also one hour visitation prior to the services at church.
