Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Matilda Japs; brother, Archie; and sister, Bernice Skocpol. Survived by Mary, his beloved wife of 61 years; sons, Russell (Bonnie) and Steven (Lynn) and daughter, Mary (Bradley Molstad); eight grandchildren, Andrew, Michael (Susie), Gregory (Rachel), Scott, Nicholas and Kelsey Japs, Aaron and Nathan Molstad; two great-grandchildren, Gemma and Isaac Japs. Upon graduation from
Hopkins
High School
was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1943 to 1945 in Patton's 3rd Division seeing action from the
Battle
of the Bulge to liberation of Mauthausen Concentration Camp.

Minnesota Chemical Engineering
graduate, 37 year 3M employee. Cliff enjoyed many hobbies: genealogy, beekeeping, gardening, home improvement and travel. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. A great joy was fishing trips with friends and family to Lake of the Woods in
