After a nine-month battle with Brain Cancer, Daniel W. Bergmeier, of Woodbury passed away April 14, 2007 at home, surrounded by family and loved ones and is now at peace. Daniel was born September 25, 1959 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Kenneth L. and Emma Jean Murphy Bergmeier. Daniel was a graduate of Ottumwa High School, Iowa. He was also a long time employee of Huebsch Services, Inc. in Eagan Minnesota. Survived by daughter, Crystal Bergmeier; a loving fiancAC., Kim Bates and her daughter Chelsea Bates; five sisters, Laura Flattery, Victoria (Will) Grove, Cathy (Gerald) Loyd, Debra (Rick) Shumaker, Jill (Rob) Thiry; two brothers, Raymond Bergmeier, Kenneth (Sara) Bergmeier. Numerous special nieces, nephews and many loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by father Kenneth L. and mother Emma Jean Murphy Bergmeier, sister Margie J. Bergmeier and niece, Wendy. Service Wednesday, 1 PM at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E). Interment Union Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, (TODAY) 4-7 PM at BRADSHAW and one-hour prior to service on Wednesday. Memorials preferred to the family.
