David Robb

Age 86, passed away March 31, 2004 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Esther Robb and brother, Walter. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Babette Johnson Robb; daughters, Pam Robb, Debbie Jankura and husband Ed; grandchildren, Lindy and Robb Jankura; brother Edwin Robb, sister Jeanne Schmitt and husband, Robert, sister-in-law, Jean Robb, brother-in-law, Bruce Johnson and wife, Shari; and many friends and relatives in Afton and Minneapolis. Attended Minneapolis West High School where he was president of his senior class. Graduated from the U of M in 1940 where he was a member of Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity and the marching band. Served in the Coast Guard in WWII. An Eagle Scout, he was scoutmaster in the Afton Area. He taught in the Stillwater School District for many years. A memorial service will be held in Afton this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church or Afton Historical Society.
