Age, 71 of Stillwater. Passed away peacefully on September 30 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA surrounded by family and loved ones. Preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Shelley. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Sue; son Troy & wife Marita, Grandchildren, Shelley, Allison, Isabella; sister and brother in law, Bobbi & Marshall Sinnett; Siblings, Doug, Ron, Cindy, Sheila, nieces, nephews, family and friends. In 1961, Don graduated from St. Paul Vocational as Valedictorian, and also graduated from Mechanic Arts High. Later he earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree with Honors from the University of Minnesota. He worked at 3M Company for 34 years and completed his career at Minnetronix. After retirement Don and Sue enjoyed many years of travel around the US and the world. Memorial Service will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 N. Fourth Street, Stillwater on Saturday, October 11 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 a.m.
