Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on December 20, 2014. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Delores (nee Brodkorb); children, Donald (Jen), Rory (Chip) Gilbert, Jacque (Craig) Becker, Diane (Bill) Bennis, and Barbara (Carlos) Picasso; 10 grandchildren, Donna, Michale, Andrea, Justin, Allyson, Traci, Bill, Dan, Adam, and Jesse; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved long drives with Delores, fishing with his grandchildren, painting, and gardening. He will be remembered and missed in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 28 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Dr, White Bear, MN. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Animal Humane Society.
