Dora Novacek

Novacek, Dora (Gawreluk) of Baudette, MN and Minneapolis, MN, on May 8, 2006; age 83. Passed away at home after being hospitalized for several weeks. Loving spouse and mother of 3, Dora worked as a nurse's aid for many years before retiring due to rheumatoid arthritis. She was able to travel, and loved visiting relatives and friends in the US, Canada, Scotland and Ukraine. Eldest of 13 children, she was preceded in death by husband, Frank of 56 years; parents; and brother, Harry. Survived by sons, Bill (Karen) and Larry; daughter, Cynthia; grandchildren, Kimberly, Amanda (Craig), Billy and Maria; sisters, Katy, Helen, Lena, Annette, Betsy, Theresa; brothers, Bill, Nick, Pete, Tom, Romon; and in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and caregivers. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 1 PM at CHURCH OF ST. ALBERT THE GREAT, E. 29th St. & 32nd Ave. S. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 6-8 PM at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. and one hour prior to Mass at the church.
