Doris M. Nord age 84 Of Oak Park Heights
died December 5, 2004 at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater. She died after a long illness, and her family was with her during her final days. She was born on March 12, 1920 in Faribault the daughter of Robert and Alice (Mulligan) Larkin. On August 20, 1943 Doris married Loren Russell Nord in Faribault. They raised five children. Following a car accident that left her husband dependant on her care, she worked alongside him for the next fifteen years, which allowed him to continue his business career. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; her daughter Laurie Nord; and her sister Betty Powers and Ruth Larkin. She is survived by her children Thomas (Mary) Nord of Madison, Wi, Karen (David) Kerkhove of Sioux Falls, SD, Mary (Thomas) Weber of Stillwater, MN and Bernadette (Paul) Christiansen of Vadnais Heights, by her sister Kay DeMars of Edina, by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be heald at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4690 Bald Eagle Ave.WBL at 9-10:00 Friday December 10, 2004. followed at 10 am by a Mass of Resurrection. A luncheon will be served at the church at 11:30 am. Memorial my be made to Courage Center, 3915 Golden Valley Rd, Mpls,, Mn 55422. Inquiries may be directed to Bradshaw Funeral Homes, 407-8300.
