Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and GG. 1912-2010. Passed away June 22, 2010 after suffering a stroke on Memorial Day. Dorothy was a longtime resident of South Minneapolis, a 1929 graduate of South High and a 1933 graduate of the U of M. She was employed many years at Montgomery Wards and also worked at Mt. Sinai and St. Mary's Hospitals. Preceded in death by husband, Erling, of 41 years and parents, Charles and Dena Bergman. Survived by daughters, Bonita (Ken) Henze of Pine City, MN and Julianne (Dennis) Pederson of Stillwater, MN; granddaughters, Heidi (Roy) Hanson of Buffalo, MN and their children, James and Samantha; and Dena (Mark) Hinrichs of North Branch, MN and their children, Hannah and Jessica; nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM., with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment Ft. Snelling, followed by a lunch at Nokomis Square, 5015 35th Ave. S. Memorials preferred to donor's choice. A special thank you to the caring, attentive staff at Fairview University Hospital and Providence Place.
