Passed away at his beloved lake home "Tara" on January 19, 2004 surrounded by family and friends. Born July 9, 1933 in Stillwater, MN. Preceded in death by loving wife, Mary; parents Earl & Louise Dornfeld and brother-in-law Dennis Becker. Survived by children Debra (Bob) Wenger of St. Francis, MN; Diane (Mark) Mattingly of Ellsworth, WI; Doug of Stillwater, MN; Eric (Amy) of Oak Park Heights, MN. Grandchildren: Erica, Jennifer, Daniel, Caroline, Ian, Chelsea, Ryan & Aaron. Sister Mary Becker of Elk River, MN; brothers Richard (Joan) of Rosemount, MN; Clarence (Dona) of Westland, MI; in-laws, Elizabeth (Stanley) Straight; Richard (Betty) Avery; Helen (Bob) DeBoer. Also by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors & friends. Retired after 30 yrs. with St. Paul Schools. Service 11:00 AM Friday at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday and one hour before service. Private Interment. Memorials Preferred.
