Died peacefully at the V.A. Medical Center on July 27, 2003. In WWII he was a Navy Pharmacist Mate attached to the 4th Marines and injured during Iwojima campaign and received the Purple Heart. Preceded in death by wife, Doris W. Erickson; parents, Walter H and Florence Erickson. Survived by son, Mark Erickson; brother, Walter H. (Edith) Erickson; sister-in-law, Vera Willetts-Burtzlaff; special nieces and nephews; other close relatives and friends. Service Thursday 11:30AM at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling @ Eleanor. Visitation A� hour prior to service. Interment of Erick and Doris immediately following the service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Animal Human Society.
