Kliewer, Ernest J, age 66, of Minneapolis, passed away suddenly at home on August 11, 2003. Twenty-nine year member and current President of the Hiawatha Lions Club, member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Eagles 34. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Donald. Survived by wife of 47 years, Barb; daughter, Debra (Dan) Braithwaite; grandchildren, Charles, Richard, Laura and Michael; mother-in-law, Marie Hruby Kleker; nieces and nephews. Service Friday, 11 am at BRADSHAW (MC-DIVITT-HAUGE), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 pm at BRADSHAW. Memorials preferred to the Lions Eye Bank.
