Hummel, Eugene A. ?Gene? age 73 of Ramsey, MN;
born in Lewiston, PA and formerly of Marshall, MN
passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at his home on January 25, 2009 surrounded by his family. Gene is survived by his wife, Marcia of 53 years; children, Beverly Wigley (Clark), Gordon (Becky), Jim (Dori), Robin (Ellen) and Teri Sutterer (Kevin); 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Gene was a pioneer in establishing the natural gas industry in Southwestern Minnesota. In addition to being a District Manager of 13 towns, he was also the Operations Coordinator and Safety Director of 18 towns. Gene was an ordained minister and pastored a church for 16 years. Gene will be remembered as a loyal husband, a caring father and grandfather, a faithful mentor and friend with a fun-loving sense of humor.
A celebration of Gene?s life will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 1PM at
BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Dr. at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E). Visitation on Tuesday (TODAY) from 5-8PM and one hour prior to the service. Private Interment.
