Frances Winger, 75, Red Wing, died Sunday at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. Born May 14, 1932, in Faribault, Minn., the daughter of Harriet and Gary Halberg, she graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul. In 1954, she married Donald Winger in Iowa. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed animals and her hobbies included reading and needlework.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Sr. of Red Wing; three children, Lynda (Steven) Freier, Donald Jr. and Michelle (David) Stingley, all of Red Wing; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of Red Wing.
Funeral is 11 a.m. March 1 at New River Assembly of God Church. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. with lunch served following the service.
