Age 90 of Saint Paul
Passed away after a hard struggle with congestive heart failure on April 14, 2008. WWII Veteran, 15th Calvary Regiment with 3 Overseas Service Bars. Fought in the Battle of the Bulge in Normandy France. George retired from Space Center Inc. after 38 years. In retirement, he enjoyed acting in TV commercials. Some ran nationwide for several years. He belonged to many square dancing clubs, polka clubs and enjoyed old time dancing. Preceded in death by wife, Agnes and daughter, Beverly. Survived by 2nd wife, Dorothy of 39 years; daughters, Patricia (Scott) Nelson and Joyce; step-daughters, Sandy (Bill) Skelly and LaVonne (Tom) Misner, San Diego; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Francis (Zaga); sister, Doris Gerenz. He will be greatly missed. Service Friday 11 a.m. at BRADSHAW 678 Snelling Avenue South. Private interment, Fort Snelling. Visitation Thursday 5-8 p.m.
