Passed away peacefully on December 1, 2007
At the age 74. Survived by loving husband of 55 years, Richard; children, Jim (Robyn), Jeanne Madsen (David), Janet Jahnke (Dan), John (Kim) and Jerry (JoAnne); grandchildren, Mark (Georgia), Beth and Richard Sandahl; David ?Buddy? (Michelle) Sandahl and their children, Kennedy, Alexis & Cole; Nick (Rachel) Madsen and their children, Lorali & David); Melissa (Billy) Vierkandt and their child, Travis; Matt Skalman & Jenna Jahnke; Bo & Jed Sandahl; and Luke & Natalie Sandahl; sister, Edythe Friedrich (Melvin); brother-in-law, Jim (Sharon); many nieces, nephews and friends. Gloria was born in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1951. She worked for Andersen Windows after high school and then after raising her family she worked as a teacher aide for Oak Park. She retired from Oak Park after 21 years. Gloria also taught calligraphy through the community education programs. Gloria was a house boater and camper of the St. Croix River. Gloria and her husband, Richard would go to Texas for the winters. A special thank you to the loving staff at New Perspective, a home specializing in dementia care. Gathering Wednesday 4-8PM with service at 7:30PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5) Memorials preferred.
