Passed away October 21, 2016 surrounded by loving family after a four year battle with pancreatic cancer. Greg was born April 27, 1955 in Rockford, IL to John (deceased) and Angela Perkey. He is survived by devoted wife of 38 years Susan; loving children, Matthew (Jennifer Crowe), Katherine, and Benjamin; mother, Angela; brothers, Gary (Lisa) and Mike (Michelle Malm); five sisters (brothers) in law; five nieces; two nephews; one great niece and many dear friends. Greg was a graduate of Northern Illinois University and a 38 year employee of Herberger's. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jahagirdar and the staff of the Cancer Care Center at Regions Hospital and the HealthPartners Hospice team for their dedicated care. Greg's wish was to be cremated. Gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 3:00PM-5:00PM with Celebration of Life service to follow immediately at the BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Highway 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations preferred to Regions Hospital Foundation-Cancer Care Center, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or a charity of the donor's choice.
