Harold Benson

Benson, Harold E. Age 87 Of White Bear Lake Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2009 at the age of 87. Harold was born November 30, 1922 in Braham, MN, son of Roy and Ruby Benson. Harold is survived by Shirley, his loving wife of 61 years and three sons; Terry (January) Benson, Greg (Marjie) Benson, Clay Benson, along with six grandchildren; Kurt, Amber, Carley, Grant, Hunter, Beau and two great grandchildren; Hailey and Caleb. Harold is also survived by two brothers; Kenneth (Viv) Benson, Robert (Mayonne) Benson, brother and sister in law; Jerome and Ethel Fjelsted, along with eight nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother; Milner and sister; Donna Mae. A Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Health Partner's Hospice in memory of Harold E.
