Age 81 of South Minneapolis. Passed away December 6, 2008, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Veteran U.S. Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. Enjoyed water skiing, hunting, fishing and working in his garage. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Marie; brother Anthony; sister Louise Vasques. Survived by loving wife of 56 years Margaret; daughter Debbie (John) Kiekow; son Tony (Shelley) Roitero; grandchildren Nicholas (Sara) Kiekow, Daniel Kiekow, Michael Kiekow, Amber Roitero, Dustin Roitero and Dylan Roitero; sisters, Nancy (Robert) Sutherland and Angie (Bud) Bergmann; niece Libby Bauman, his Godchild and by many other nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11 a.m. at the CHURCH OF SAINT ALBERT THE GREAT, Corner of E. 29th Street and 32nd Avenue South. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-9 p.m. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge) 3131 Minnehaha Avenue and 1 hour prior to mass at the church. Many thanks to the outstanding work that Fairview Riverside Hospice has done for our family, especially Annie, Julie, Alan and his special friend Jack. We can never thank you enough.
