Helen Marie Gabrick
A Seward neighborhood resident since 1941, passed away on March 9, 2007. Helen was born December 24, 1912 on a farm near Wyoming, Minnesota. She was a teacher in the Chisago County schools from 1932-1937, moving to Minneapolis in 1937 when she married Michael Gabrick, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1981. She will be remembered by sons, Robert and Norman; grandsons, Brad (wife, Barbara) and Ross; great-granddaughter, Katherine; sister, Gertrude (husband, Walter) Radtke; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many cousins, nieces, nephews, including maternal relatives in Germany, as well as many wonderful friends and neighbors. Visitation Friday, 5-8 PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So., Mpls. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Service Saturday, 3 PM at SAINT PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, MN. There will be a buffet in the Church Fellowship Hall after the service. Following the buffet, burial will take place beside her husband in Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bethany Lutheran Church, Saint Paul Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice. Please include your address with your expression of sympathy.
