Helen Zinter Hennessy, age 93, of Friendship Village Bloomington. Preceded in death by her father Paul Zinter, her mother Fredericka Vollrath Zinter, her husband Joseph D. Hennessy, her son John Michael Hennessy, two brothers and seven sisters. She is survived by her husband Fritjof T. Lokensgard, her daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Michael Hayes, step-daughter Ann and her husband Wally Oien, step-son Alan Lokensgard and his wife Jean, step-son Arvid Lokensgard, a sister Melba Surina, a sister-in-law Dorothy Willard, granddaughters Jennifer (James) Jubenville, Gretchen Hayes, Maureen (Adam) Morrison, six step-grandchildren, ten step-great grand children, many nephews and nieces. For several years Helen was employed at St. Paul Fire and Marine. Later she was on the staff at the Veterans Administration in the Department of Research and as secretary of the Chaplain Service. A memorial service will be held at Friendship Village Chapel, 8100 Highwood Drive, Bloomington, on Friday, August 20th.,at 11:00 a.m.
Memorials may be made to Lyngblomsten Foundation, 1415 Almond Ave., St. Paul 55108, or to the Employee Appreciation Fund at Friendship Village.
