Age 94 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2009. Preceded in death by husband, Jerome Sr. and sons, Jerome Jr. and Darrell C. Shanahan. Survived by children, Pat (Jack) Getchman, Kathleen (Archie) Brookins, Mark Shanahan (Debbie), Kim (Brad) Peterson; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and dog, Bitsy. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at10AM on Thursday, August 13, 2009 with visitation one hour prior to service at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So., Mpls. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
