Henrietta C. "Hank", age 88, of Minneapolis on September 13, 2003. Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Eugenia Schadle; brothers, Joseph, Allen, Edward and John Schadle; and husband, Walter J. Podobinski. Survived by brother, Daniel (Pat) Schadle of Gold Canyon, AZ; sisters-in-law, Cecelia Podobinski and Frances Wiatros of St. Paul; and sister, Mary Peter, C.S.S.F. of Chicago, IL; brothers-in-law, Ted Podobinski and John (Bonnie) Podobinski of St. Paul and Stanley (Angie) Podobinski of Maplewood. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews in Minnesota, Iowa and California; special friend, Marcia Scheele; and dear pet, "Bruno". Henrietta was born on March 29, 1915 in Dubuque, IA. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing and spent many years caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Her long nursing career included forty-three years at U.S. Veterans Hospitals in both Clinton, IA and Minneapolis, MN. Henrietta was very active in the seniors group at St. Helena's Catholic Church and served that community in many capacities. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. The family especially wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Marcia Scheele for her dedication and the loving care she gave to Henrietta. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00AM at CHURCH OF SAINT HELENA, 3201 E.43rd Street. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
