Born 1915 in Ipswich, S.D. Graduated from N.S.C.College. Coached high school sports, then worked 44 years for the North Central Wool Growers. He later worked part time for Sims Security. Preceeded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, & 2 brothers. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Gail; daughters, Sherrill (Brian) Holmes and Lynn (Michael) Allen; sons, Tom (Judi) and Lon (Gina); 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Albert & Andy; and sister, Marcia. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday at CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, 3201 E. 43rd St., Mpls. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday, with a prayer service at 6:30; as well as visitation 1 hour prior to services at the church. Memorials preferred.
