Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 29, 2008. Preceded in death by his wife, Florence; 2 sons, Dennis and John; brothers, Alvin, Oscar and Lawrence. Survived by sons, Timothy (Regina) and Richard (Catherine); daughter, Marcia (Robert) Boden; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Herbert was a longtime employee of the twin cities dairy industry. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, E. 43rd St. at 32nd Ave. S. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8PM on Friday, January 2, 2008 at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. And also one hour prior to Mass at church.
