Leaves Legacy of Love
This compassionate man, who brought light, humor and hope wherever he went, died peacefully in St. Paul, MN on April 17, 2008. He was a pastor for 39 years in California, before moving to MN. Most recently serving as chaplain at Boutwell?s Landing in Oak Park Heights, MN, he also pastored in Danforth, Kerrick and St. Paul Park, MN. Howard leaves his loving wife Joyce; son Mark (Jill); daughters DeAnn and Lisa; four brothers and one sister; and eight grandchildren. Two separate memorial services will be held for Howard: the first on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at NORTH HEIGHTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1700 West Highway 96, Arden Hills, MN 55112; the second at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008 in the chapel at Boutwell?s Landing, 5600 Norwich Parkway Oak Park Heights, MN 55082. Please make remembrance donations in lieu of flowers to ?Presbyterian Homes, Boutwell?s Landing? at 5600 Norwich Parkway Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 or to ?Guild Incorporated? at 130 South Wabasha St. Paul, MN 55107.
