A memorial gathering for Hoyt Helmer Johnson of Mahtomedi, formerly of Stillwater and new Richmond, WI, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 22 at BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 490 No. Fourth St., Bayport. Interment at the New Richmond Cemetery.
Hoyt was born in New Richmond on September 3, 1931 to Helmer and Bertha Johnson. He worked for the Farmers Union Grain Terminal Association (now Harvest States) in St. Paul.
Preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Leona. Survived by his wife DeAnna, his children, Brad (Joan), Sandy (Don) Evans, David (Betsy); his step children, Debbie Holtz and Steven (Angie) Snuggerud, Paul Graves; 15 grandchildren; many friends extended family and co-workers remember him fondly.
Hoyt died on Sunday, November 9, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Stillwater.
