Born January 27, 1924 in Kalamazoo, MI and passed away on May 19, 2011 in St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by husband, John W., parents, John & Terese Endres and sisters, Frances, Geraldine & Barbara. Survived by children, John (Jane), Mark (Suzanne), Mary, Timothy (Angelika), Loretta, Cathy (Tom) and Ann (Paul); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Edward (Dorothy). Irene received her Nursing Degree from Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI and her Public Health Degree from the Univ. of Michigan. She was a veteran of WWII; nurse lieutenant in Germany. Irene married John W. Browning in 1949. She had a career in health services and spent many years volunteering in that field. She was a former member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Golden Valley.
