She was born Oct. 18th 1931 in West St. Paul MN, to Frank and Elizabeth Kafka
She married William Howard Oferosky November 2nd 1951
Jackie formerly of St. Paul MN, moved to Eau Claire WI in 1996
Jackie cherished her family, and nothing was more important to her than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jackie was an avid reader, when her eyesight no longer allowed it she adapted to books or CD's on tape. She took great pride in keeping up with current events and could hold her own in a debate on any topic. She loved to travel, whether it be a weekend trip to a casino, cruise to Alaska, or visiting Ellis Island in New York. She loved new experiences, history, and the excitement of going somewhere new.

Survived by daughters, Therese (Tom) Ahlgren, Christine, Laurie (Paul) DeNomme, Roberta (Ron) Farley, Elizabeth (Jeff) Engen; sons, David Oferosky, Alan Oferosky. 20 Grandchildren; 14 Great grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandchild; sister, Sally Kafka.

Preceded by husband, Howard; son, Anthony Michael Oferosky,

Visit Thurs. Dec. 19, 5:00 to 7:00PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia and one hour before the service at church. Mass of Christian burial, Fri Dec. 20, 11:30 AM at THE CHURCH OF ST MICHAEL, 337 E. Hurley St., West St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
