Born April 20, 1935, joined our Heavenly Father on October 7, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Rose and brother, John. Devoted husband of 48 years, Julia (Witzmann). Caring father to 7 children, James (Michele), David (Jill), John (Patty), Clare (Jim) Stetson, Stephen (Michelle), Randy and Nancy (Jeff) Johnson. Grandfather of 15, Nicole, Lauren, Justin, Brandon, Cori, Amanda, Taylor, Tony, Dani, Joseph, Shawn, Abby, Natalie, Josh and Bethany. Siblings, Mary Hockert, Betty Trudeau, Walter, Roy and Judy Tauer. Served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957. He retired from NSP after a successful 32 year career in 1992. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:30AM at CHURCH OF ST. BERNARD, 197 W. Geranium. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
