Jared was born on November 14, 1981 in Stillwater, MN. He was a graduate of Stillwater High School. He had a passion for cooking and worked in several restaurants prior to his 2008 car accident.
He was the beloved son of Jim and Gail, cherished brother of James (Melissa), Janel, Lindsay (Aaron), and Jeana Lyn, an infant sister who passed away in 1978, special uncle of Destiny, Trevor, Tyler, and Morgan, dear grandson of Mona Maile of Lehigh, Iowa, plus numerous other relatives and many friends.
Jared loved sports, excelling at soccer and hockey. He was a person of courage and strength who so deeply loved his family and friends. He had a loving heart, a wonderful sense of humor, a special love for animals, and a positive, upbeat attitude. He had a smile and a good word for everyone.
Jared was our hero. He was a fierce fighter, loyal, loving, and unwavering in his beliefs. Often described by others as a "sweetheart of a man", Jared inspired us all to be better people. What a brave person you were! We will love you and miss you forever and ever and, even longer.
A celebration of Jared's life will be held on Saturday, October 8, at 1PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater.
To honor Jared, we will be wearing yellow, a color he loved, or Minnesota Gopher attire.
