Jean Johnson

Johnson, Jean T., age 97, of Minneapolis, formerly of Elk Mound, WI. Died October 23, 2004. Preceded in death by loving husband, Archie; sisters, Alma & Julie; brothers, Carl & Hartwick. Survived by sons, Earl (Pat) and Bruce; grandchildren, Brian, Lauren, Mike and Brent; foster brothers, Paul, Kenneth and Chris; 22 foster children; and many great nieces and friends. Jean was very active in South Minneapolis Park and School programs including being a Den Mother at Howe School and was proud of being given Lifetime Member of the PTA. Jean was also an active member of the Ruth Guild at Holy Trinity Church. Her hobbies included fishing, bowling, travel, softball, playing the piano as well as a love for the great outdoors. Service Tuesday, 11:00 AM at HOLY TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2730 East 31st Street. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society.
