Born August 22, 1932 in Carroll, Iowa. Died December 28, 2009. Longtime resident of South Minneapolis. Attended Concordia College for a teaching degree. Taught at Holy Trinity in their preschool and nursery. Was a dedicated employee with Sears and Roebuck for many years at the Lake Street and Mall of America stores. Her favorite department was popcorn and candy and her least favorite was power tools. She took an adventurous trip to Norway with her close friend, Doris. Joan had a vivacious personality and delighted in writing friends and family and sending cards for all occasions. Survived by sisters, Darlene Osier and Dorothy Miller; nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service Saturday, 11 AM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. We would like to thank Mount Olivet Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Mount Olivet Home, 5517 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55419.
