Services for John C. Hedstrom, of Hudson will be Wednesday, 2:00 P.M. at MEMORIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 15730 South Afton Boulevard. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Born March 30, 1928 in Afton, MN to Carl & Alice (Ross) Hedstrom. John served in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds he received in battle. He married Pauline Harwell in 1957. He took great pride in his work as a bricklayer in the Hudson area for over 40 years. John passed away Sunday, July 29th at Lakeview Hospital after a 3 year illness.
John is survived by his loving wife, Pauline; sisters, Marion Glasbrenner and Iona Bartelt of Afton, and Carlene Melby of Stillwater and many nieces and nephews.
