Beloved Husband & Father
Of Oak Park Heights, formerly of Birchwood on WBL. Died peacefully on June 3, 2007. Born January 14, 1917 in Haysville, KS. Preceded in death by daughter, Janice "January" Cain, parents and siblings, Doris and Wayne. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Loraine; daughters, Barbara Murray (Dick) and Verna LeMire (James Markie); 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Esther Dahlberg, Norma Peters and Louise Eberhard and many other relatives and friends. Dale was secretary/treasurer and part owner of Fuel Economy Engineering Co. He was mayor of Birchwood for 12 years. His favorite pasttimes were playing bridge, golf, fishing and gardening. We wish to thank the staff at Hospice of the Lakes and all the nurses at the Gathering for your wonderful care. Memorial service Friday 11:00 AM at ARLINGTON HILLS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 759 E Cty Road B., Maplewood. Private interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation Thursday 4-7 PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Cty Road 5), Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
