Julia Eicher

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 5, 2003. Born in Elk River, MN on March 11, 1917. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, a good part of their lives were spent working side by side as proprietors of a successful tavern and restaurant. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen (Daniel) Sanders and Judith Bartoni; grandchildren, Rico Bartoni, Jessica Sanders and Jonathan Sanders; brother William Simon. After the passing of her husband she lived with her younger daughter and grandson, Rico who was blessed and greatly influenced by her loving guidance and presence while growing up. She left an imprint of love on everyone she touched. She loved life. In recent years she was a dialysis patient, but her enthusiasm for living undiminished by her frailty. She was a loving presence in our lives and will be remembered by her feisty spirit, generosity and great warmth. She traveled the world, loved cruises, and was always ready to pack her bags for a new adventure. She moved to live near the ocean at the age of 82 with her daughter, Judy. Recently they lived on a horse will be missed dearly.
