Died comfortably surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. Preceded in death by 3 grandsons, Tommy, Joseph and Matthew; step-brother, Jim Krongard. Survived by husband, Thomas Eichten; son, David (Jerri) Eichten; daughter, Denise (Troy) Baxley; grandsons, Hunter and Tanner; parents, Marilyn & Les Krongard; sisters, Alis DeLisle and Terry (Jim) McClung; step-brothers, Joel and Jon Krongard; step-sister, Joy (Bill) Allen and other family and friends. A Celebration of Karen's life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (N.W. corner of Co. Rd 5 and Hwy. 36) Stillwater. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport. Visitation Wednesday 5-8pm and one hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred. See caringbridge.org/visit/kareneichten.
