Loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathleen Karol Bruss, age 70, passed away at her home on May 16, 2008 after a brief battle with a cancerous brain tumor. Preceded in death by her parents, Arnold & Genevieve Buesing, brother, Arnold Buesing, Jr., nephew, Paul Buesing, infant nephew, Val Buesing, brother-in-law, Del Quiring and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Walter & Viola Bruss. Survived by husband of almost 48 years, Gene; daughters, Sara (Mike) Corcoran and Anne (Dan) Nelson; grandchildren, Erin Corcoran, Megan and Ryan Nelson; brothers, Michael (Sandy) Buesing and Jeffrey (Mary Jo) Buesing; sister-in-law, Monna Buesing; sister-in-law, Sherron Quiring; many other family and friends. Service Wednesday 10:30AM at CHRIST CHURCH LUTHERAN, 3244 34th Ave. So. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8PM BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials preferred to Christ Church Lutheran Endowment Fund of Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
