Age 91
Of Little Canada. Lena was recently residing at the Good Samaritan Home in Maplewood, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Julia Remackel, all of her siblings, her beloved husband, Howard George and her eldest son, Howard James. She is survived by her sons, Bernard (Linda) Steele, Dennis (Carol) Steele, John Steele, James Steele, Joseph (Cherie) Steele; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Lena and Howard were life-long residents of Little Canada and members of St. John's Church of Little Canada. She was a devoted wife and mother who never tired of taking care of children and cooking for family and friends. Lena had a kind and generous spirit and prayed the rosary everyday. She treasured her faith and family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11:00AM at ST. JOHN'S CHURCH OF LITTLE CANADA, 380 Little Canada Rd., Little Canada. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-8PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice St at Magnolia and 1 hour prior to Mass at the Church.
