Stepan, Leslie L. "Les", June 16, 1918 - May 2, 2008 of Stillwater, formerly of Willow River, MN. Passed away at Good Samaritan. WW II Army Veteran. Retired from Andersen Windows. Member of Bayport American Legion Post # 491, Stillwater VFW Post # 323, First Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Washington County Historical Society. Avid fisherman, especially ice fishing at Lilly Lake. Les was especially proud of his tomato plants and could make anything grow better and bigger.Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Rose and eleven siblings. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Anita Jane "Kellie" (nee Kelson); children, James K. (Mary Beth), David G. (Chris) both of Stillwater and Susan Terdan of KY.; grandchildren, William K. (Carrissa), Benjamin J., Jane M. and Jeffrey K. Stepan and Louis D. Terdan; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral service 11:00AM Monday, June 16, 2008 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Road 5), Stillwater.
