Born August 29, 1956 in Stillwater and passed away surrounded by her loving family after a brave and courageous battle with bile duct cancer on May 16th, 2011. Proceeded in death by her mother, Nancy Jansen, grandparents Luke & Elaine Jansen and Edry & Virginia Johnson. Survived by her father, Gilbert Jansen (special friend, Gudrun Bartkey), her loving and devoted husband of 24 years, Daniel; children, Jennifer (Corey) Erickson, Amy Fritsche and Joshua (Chrissy) Fritsche; grandchildren, Justin (Laura), Tyler, Brandon, Hayden. Mikaela, Logan and Mason; great granddaughter, Maggie; siblings, Robert (Julia) Jansen, Michael (Anna) Jansen, Kim (Scott) Russell, Thomas Jansen, Joseph (Tami) Jansen, Anthony (Tauni) Jansen and Mark Jansen; many nieces and nephews; sister in-law, Ruth Clark; father and mother in-law, Thomas and Mary Langford; other relatives and friends. Luann was a longtime resident of Stillwater. She was a beloved gardener, loved the outdoors, traveling and collecting roosters. More importantly she loved being surrounded by her grandchildren. Luann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her! Memorial Service 11am Tuesday May 24th at PEOPLE'S CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 309 N. Third Street, Bayport. Gathering Monday 4-8PM at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5).
