Lydia was born April 26, 1913 to Joseph Kerchiel and Mary Cermack in Hopkins, MN. Married George A. Kortz on June 20, 1936. Survived by children, Kenneth (Ellen) Kortz, Carole (Paul) Hansen; grandchildren, Paul (Barbara) Hansen, Kimberly (David) Holland and Michelle Hanson; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Ariel Hanson and Jada Clark, Kathryn and Christopher Hansen; sister, Rose McGonagle; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Geortge Kortz; and brother, Raymond Kerchiel. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Monday, November 30 at THE CHURCH OF ST. ALBERT THE GREAT, E. 29th Street at 32nd Ave. S. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to Leukemia Society.
