A WWII disabled vet, he was blinded by TB, acquired in the service. His vision did not stop him from travels or cab rides, to see his friends. His Payne Ave. days brought great memories. Lyle cared deeply about other peoples' struggles, but never complained of his own. He was a great man, touching so many peoples lives. He was so thoughtful and helped those who needed it, like the local food shelf. To look at Lyle, you saw a kind, gentle, selfless soul. Lyle, you are loved by so many people and will be greatly missed. You will remain in our hearts, till we meet again. God bless you. Good Night Buddy. Lyle and Evelyn will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Wed., June 30, 12:30 pm. (meet at assembly area #4)
